Mountain Dew – Giant Pinball Skate Park

The marketers of Mountain Dew built a skate park like a giant size pinball machine in a sound stage at the Henderson Film Studios. During a six week promotion a TV ad was made, a skate competition was won by Mike V (pictured) and then the park was opened to the public. Amazing interactive technology was created by Automation Associates with the works – sensors to light the bumper buttons, a giant digital score board and the sound of buzzers, bells and explosions booming out from our JBL MRX system set into the back wall.
